Liz grew up in a town that felt beautiful, close, and connected. It was the kind of place where people knew each other, celebrated together, showed up for weddings, graduations, and new babies, and also came together during grief and hard times. That feeling of community is part of what Lei D. Bug’s Kitchen is built on.
The food is inspired by the meals Liz grew up eating — natural, cooked from scratch, and made with love. Some of her favorite memories are tied to the meals her dad made, including open-faced roast beef sandwiches and mashed potatoes. Those are the kinds of meals that do more than fill a plate. They remind people of home.
